wedding

Been a bad blogger. Not even gonna go into it :) In non loser news, My dad is getting married this saturday. :) My bro and I are leaving tomorrow to attend. It's actually pretty cool. I'm so happy he found love again after Mom.

Had a bit of a hard time figuring out a wedding gift. Hard to come up with something for a couple who has everything, and for a man who's dying. The chemo is kicking his ass so he's not feeling well enough to 'do' anything too exciting either. Do dying people ever feel great?? Prolly not.

Anyway, this is what I came up with (in addition to the scrapbook I'll naturally do for them) I like it. The out of focus image on the right is the compliment frame deal that will hold a wedding photo. Sorry I don't know how to take a good picture.

The phrase in the half circle says "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breathe away" Hope that's not too lame.

Michelle
That is perfect! Your dad will love it, and it has YOU written all over it! You did a great job!
And that saying is perfect, especially considering the situation.
We'll miss you, scrappin', but we know that you will be where you need to be.
Please tell Bill congratulations for me.
